Comrade Steve Tanksley was a long-time member of VFW Post 7263, and his father was also a member.  Steve told us he practically grew up at our Post and remembered running around the Post as a kid.  He is an Army veteran, having served overseas as a cavalry scout.  Steve was also an officer of our VFW Post.  He served as Trustee for many years, and then served as Senior Vice Commander.  He was a beloved husband to wife Rosalinda, and beloved father to daughter Joann and two sons Jason and Shane.  Steve was highly revered by friends and family alike.
